Working in High Risk confined space (Entrant) (Water) – 6150-03

Project Info

Project Description

Purpose-built by City and Guilds, for training in the dangers and safe working practices within enclosed (confined) spaces, this course is aimed at those who will be working in extremely difficult environments that are designated as ‘high-risk’.

Generally a high-risk confined space is defined as a space where a hazard is present that cannot be managed or eliminated. To replicate this environment, it is expected that the candidate will carry out their task with a risk present and therefore must wear fill-breathing apparatus (SCBA) to carry out this task safely.

High risk confined spaces are extremely complex and require both careful planning to enter safely and dedicated specific controls and rescue arrangements.
